Our Founder's Story

Allison "Alliy" Elliott, is a former first responder, military spouse, devoted mother and wife. Guided by the motto, “Make the world a better place than you found it,” her life experiences have deeply influenced the mission and the heart of AE Shoppes. She takes great pride in every product as an invitation to smile, laugh, and connect.

My journey into the art of handcrafted gift-giving began at an early age, inspired by the creative spirit of my mother and grandmother. Their dedication to making every moment special taught me that even a small, personalized item can spark joy and strengthen bonds.

I recall a treasured moment during my wedding—a day filled with both celebration and concern for my beloved grandmother. Determined to honor her desire for independence and beauty, I crafted a festive flower arrangement for her walker, matching our bridal bouquet. This act of care not only uplifted her spirit but also underscored my belief: every detail matters.

My life, shaped by serving as a military spouse, mother, wife, and first responder, has taught me the importance of cherishing every moment. Coupled with the unwavering support and extraordinary influences of my mother, my grandmother, my husband and my children. —

• Grammy Heather (My Mother): Her creativity and commitment to community activism instilled in me the love of crafting heartfelt gifts and being a voice for those in need.
  

• Betty Blanket (My Grandmother): With a life story rooted in the resilience of the Great Depression and a legacy of donating comfort through handmade blankets, she continues at 92 to inspire by making a positive impact in shelters, care homes, and local churches.

  
  

• Magic Michael (My Husband): My rock and my favorite person to share life’s adventures. My steadfast partner and strategic advisor whose expertise in business and technology has been vital in elevating AE Shoppes from a cherished idea to a thriving venture.
  

• The Wildlings (My Children): My kids, with their unrestrained imaginations and unique personalities, remind me daily of what it means to celebrate life. Planning their one-of-a-kind pirate fairy princess birthday party taught me to cherish both the triumphs and challenges of motherhood. Their enthusiasm drives me to honor every trial and tribulation, transforming each precious moment into an opportunity for love, laughter, and creativity
  

Each of these influences has taught me that meaningful gift-giving is about more than the product—it’s about weaving connections and celebrating life.

Drawing inspiration from the women who raised her and with the incredible support of her husband and family, Alliy founded AE Shoppes in 2024 to turn shared moments into tangible treasures.
